Tracking
The Tracking section gives you access to DHL’s different tracking services used across DHL divisions.
Use these APIs to retrieve shipment status, receive real‑time updates or access detailed freight tracking information.
DHL’s Shipment Tracking – Unified API provides a single modern interface for tracking parcels, express shipments and freight across multiple DHL business units.
If you need proactive updates pushed directly to your system, the Unified Push version allows you to receive status events without polling.
For DHL Freight–specific tracking, you can also use DHL Active Tracing, which gives access to detailed milestone events for freight shipments.
This is useful when working with transport orders submitted via Transport Instruction and other DHL Freight services.
